We offer two types of guest rooms:

1. Western-style Room (1st Floor)

• Capacity: 4 people

• Room Size: 29.81 sqm

• Bed Types: 3 Semi-double beds (122cm × 195cm), 1 Extra single bed (97cm × 195cm)

This room, originally an audio room, has been thoughtfully renovated into a guest room.

For the semi-double beds, we have introduced mattresses from Francebed, a renowned Japanese brand known for quality.

These mattresses feature sturdy springs that provide excellent support, making it easy to turn over in your sleep—a great choice even for those with back concerns.

In contrast, the extra single bed features a Koala Mattress.

This is a low-resilience memory foam (urethane) mattress, offering a different, body-contouring feel compared to the Francebed mattresses.

2. Japanese-style Room (2nd Floor)

• Capacity: 6 people

• Room Size: 32.09 sqm

• Bed Types: Mattresses layered over traditional Japanese futons

This Japanese-style room boasts a stunning, panoramic view of the cherry blossom trees lining the banks of the Hinokinai River—one of Kakunodate’s most iconic and beautiful sights.

For your comfort, we use high-density contoured urethane mattresses from Matsuyama Kigyo.

These thick, high-resilience mattresses are designed to provide excellent support, making it easy to turn over while sleeping and reducing the burden on your shoulders and lower back for a truly restful night.

Bathroom and toilet

While our facilities do not feature natural hot spring (onsen) water, our bathtub is beautifully crafted from Aomori Hiba (a premium Japanese cypress).

The rich, natural woody aroma of the Hiba provides a deeply relaxing effect, allowing you to unwind completely during your bath.

For your amenities, we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from the "JUNI" line by Kimura Soap.

Meticulously developed over five years by a long-established soap manufacturer based in Osaka, these high-quality hair and body care products offer a truly luxurious experience.

There are restrooms located on both the 1st and 2nd floors.

• 1st Floor: Separate facilities for men and women (please note that the men's restroom features a urinal only).

• 2nd Floor: One shared restroom.

Note: All of our restrooms are equipped with Washlet (electronic bidet) seats for your comfort.

Dining and kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen on the 1st floor offers a wide variety of cookware, seasonings, and beverages for you to use freely.

This is highly recommended for guests staying for multiple nights, or those who prefer to pick up local ingredients at a nearby supermarket and enjoy a relaxed, home-cooked dinner at their own pace.

We take pride in our selection of seasonings, sourcing them directly from local producers here in Akita whenever possible.

Many of these are unique, regional flavors that you won't easily find elsewhere.

If you discover a particular flavor you love while cooking, these items are also available for purchase at the check-in reception desk. Please feel free to pick some up to take a taste of Akita home with you!
